ActiveSTIM is a software application for Windows operating system that assists creation of computer based experiments for research in vision, behavioral and cognitive sciences.

ActiveSTIM acts as an ActiveX server that is controlled by the client application and provides functions that are typically needed in such experiments and are otherwise technically difficult to achieve.

ActiveSTIM provides management of bitmap files in memory, accurate presentation of visual stimuli, digital I/O and measurement of response times.
